Distance Learning Library Services

Online Tutoring Services
As a Distance Learning Student, you have access to free 24/7 online tutoring services via StudentNest.com. Click on live support. Request a tutoring session; provide your UW-Superior email address (as your username). Click on the link provided and log in to your session. Your password is URsuperior.
If you're looking for help writing a paper or need a second set of eyes to help with revising and editing, the Writing Center is always available to Distance Learning students. With online consultations and extended hours for every term, you'll be able to get the help you need.
Proctoring for Exams
Some courses and exams require a qualified administrator to proctor an exam. Learn more about when proctors are required, how to obtain proctors and the procedures for ordering exams on our Proctoring for Exams page.
Disability Support Services
Career Services provides a wealth of online resources for distance learning students in resume building, cover letter writing, and job and internship seeking. Students may also e-mail their resume and cover letters to Career Services to be reviewed by a career counselor.
Jacket Jobs is UW-Superior’s official web recruiting system, where students can review jobs, volunteer opportunities, and internships posted by regional, national, and global employers, network with recruiters, and view upcoming career events hosted by Career Services. ‘Jacket Jobs is part of the “Jobs for Wisconsin Grads” Consortium, where employers can connect with students on 13 state university campuses at one time.

All University of Wisconsin-Superior students who have not completed a college level mathematics course must take the UW System Mathematics Placement Test, available at all UW campuses and at testing centers nationwide. Visit the Placement Testing page for information on scheduling a test.
